Wande Coal’s controversial ‘Go low’ video has been reportedly
banned by Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC). Before now,the same
video has been under severe attacks from fellow artiste,Kenny Saint
Brown because of contents which she described as immoral.She said the
video is one of the reasons that rape is on the increase in the country.
Born Wande Oluwatobi Ojosipe,Wande Coal as he is popularly called was
born in Lagos Island.He attended Federal Government College Ijanikin
and University of Lagos,Akoka.
He was discovered in 2006 by the duo of Don Jazzy and Dbanj when they went to perform in Unilag. He was signed on Mohits Records. He subsequently moved to Marvin Records after the owners fell apart.
