The In Da Club hitmaker’s follow-up to 2009′s Before I Self Destruct has
been delayed since last year, when he entered into a war of words with
Interscope Records bosses for “moving in slow motion”.
He recently revealed his next project would be called 5 (Murder by Numbers), but it won’t be his official Interscope disc – that album, titled Street King Immortal, will hit music retailers in November.
In the meantime, 50 will give fans a special treat in celebration of his birthday by making Friday’s release available for download online, completely free of charge.
In a series of Twitter.com posts, he writes, “You can’t buy album 5 it’s FREE. Street king immortal will be for sale… The full CD will be out on my birthday.”
